Kirk Stober claimed his 8th Bergen Bassmasters club win with an 11 pound 12 ounce limit on a difficult Candlewood Lake, May 19th. Placing second and weighing the 5 pound 6 ounce tournament lunker was Ed Schickman. Ed's limit registered 10 pounds 11 ounces. The 34 club members brought in 16 limits, 113 bass and 201 pounds 13 ounces.

Eric Lehmann claimed his first victory in many years by winning the opening event held at Lake Lillinonah on May 5th. Eric's total of 10 pounds 5 ounces edged out Steve Schilling by an ounce. Steve also bagged the lunker with a mammoth 4 pound 10 ounce smallmouth caught on "half a Senko". The 34 members totaled 21 limits, 143 total bass and 209 pounds 12 ounces.
